Drake Bell Appears to Explain ‘Missing’ Ordeal – 8 Facts

On Thursday night, Drake Bell appeared to offer an explanation after he was reported missing by the Daytona Beach Police Department.

Just before 1 p.m., Daytona Beach police said Bell was in contact with law enforcement and was safe.

Bell tweeted: “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?”

He added a laughing emoji, seemingly implying the entire ordeal was simply a mistake.

Bell is best known for his role on the teen comedy show “Drake and Josh.” At the time, it came as a shock to people in the area familiar with the show.

“I don’t know why he was here, but I hope he’s OK,” Jeremy Perez, who works in Daytona Beach, said.
